Motorola - Snake

January 30, 2000 | :30

Motorola’s pair of animal-themed Super Bowl ads by McCann-Erickson in 2000 played to the crowds well.

Here a guy (Jason Jones, later of "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart") gets a snake up his pants leg to demonstrate the value of a quick web search. What could have been vulgar actually clearly demonstrates the web capabilities of the phone.

The other ad finds a cuter reptile falling in love with a new web-enabled mobile phone ("Turtle").

Motorola came back to the Super Bowl in 2006 with the epic (on the geological time scale) "Pebl."
