New York—Time Inc. has named Norman Pearlstine exec VP-chief content officer, a new position. Pearlstine had been chief content officer at Bloomberg for the past five years.

New York—Time Warner has named Joseph A. Ripp CEO of Time Inc. Ripp, who is CEO of OneSource Information Services and a former Time Inc. executive, will take over in September as the company prepares for its separation from parent Time Warner as a publicly traded company.
