In the summer of 2010, The Standard came to Bader Rutter with the goal of finding a strategic partner to help it strengthen its marketing communications. Primarily a BtoB company that sells retirement plans and disability insurance, The Standard operates in a heavily regulated and competitive market where customers primarily
price-shop. The Standard had low brand recognition but was a very successful company.
Bader Rutter responded with an innovative group-authored blog in a space where competitors were not active. The agency developed an online virtual tour of the Workplace Possibilities Center, a state-
of-the-art model workspace demonstrating ergonomic solutions to enhance productivity. Public relations developed a program that included media training, webinars, contributed articles, white papers and case studies.
Bader Rutter helped establish a social media presence for The Standard. The Standard quickly became a leader in its target social media space. We audited the existing website and generated new ideas for perceived content gaps. As a result of these tactics, brand recognition increased and overall share of voice doubled.
