NY Times debuts ad unit with live event streaming
New York—The New York Times introduced an ad unit that streams a live webcast of a Times conference. Bank of America is the first company to use the new ad unit, which today is live streaming the Times' Schools for Tomorrow conference.
The Times and advertising agency Pickle Group, Los Angeles, worked with Bank of America to develop the ad unit.
“This latest innovation, designed with Bank of America, brings our journalism to life with a front-row seat for viewers to experience our annual education conference, all within an ad unit,” said Meredith Kopit Levien, exec VP-advertising for the Times, in a statement.
