Stein IAS, New York, was named 2013 BMA Agency of the Year at the B2 Awards presentation during the Business Marketing Association's “Blaze” global conference May 30 in Chicago. The BMA honored Stratasys as Corporate Marketer of the Year.
The B2 Awards recognize outstanding strategy, creative and results across a variety of business marketing categories.
This year, the BMA received 959 total entries in 30 categories. Awards of excellence were given to 184 companies; 30 best of category awards were announced; and 10 group category awards were presented at the B2 ceremony.
“The recognition of Agency of the Year is always terrific, but particularly so this year. It comes in concert with the launch of Stein IAS,” said Tom Stein, CEO of Stein IAS Americas, New York.
Stein IAS, the product of a merger between Stein+Partners Brand Activation, New York, and IAS b2b Marketing, London, officially launched its global brand identity, “Most importantly,” at the “Blaze” conference.
Stein+Partners was named BMA Agency of the Year in 2010, and IAS b2b Marketing received the same honor in 2011.
“That was the beginning of how we got to know IAS b2b and set the wheels in motion over time to bring the agencies together as a single agency,” Stein said. “To have this [award] happen on the heels of that is evidence of the potential of Stein IAS and recognition of its heritage.”
