Godengo+Texterity rebrands as GTxcel

Southborough, Mass.—Digital and mobile publishing company Godengo+Texterity has rebranded itself as GTxcel.

The company was formed in March 2012 when Godengo, which provides content management systems for magazine publishers, acquired Texterity, a provider of digital magazines and mobile applications.

Referring to the GT in the new name, GTxcel CEO Peter Stilson said in a release: “Retaining our strong brand legacy was important.” The rebranding effort emphasizes the importance of monetization through the tagline “Maximize your media.”
