McClatchy buys Tru Measure
Sacramento, Calif.—Newspaper publisher McClatchy Co. has acquired Tru Measure, a digital marketing company that measures online ad effectiveness. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As reported in the Sacramento Bee, a McClatchy newspaper, the two companies have worked on projects since 2010. A Tru Measure product is currently being used in McClatchy's impressLOCAL tool on behalf of small and midsize advertisers.
Tru Measure co-founder Charity Huff is the only company executive joining McClatchy. She will retain her title of general manager.
Tru Measure is based in Crested Butte, Colo.
