    This reports includes over 54 pages and 42 charts and graphs that are based on the 432 responses from b2b marketers, surveyed in January and February 2013.

    Campaign: Our Water Counts

    America's crumbling infrastructure has hit municipal water managers hard. GE Intelligent Platforms and its agency, Marketsense, created the Our Water Counts movement to outline solutions that improve efficiency and limit water loss. Part of the initiative was an @OurWaterCounts Twitter feed that delivers conservation tips and drives traffic to an informational website at OurWaterCounts.com.

    Marketsense took an intelligent approach to building followers. It ran regular searches for potential advocates using water-related keywords and tweeted five times a day, seven days a week during the first six months. It also developed such regular features as “Daily Data Droplets,” “Tip Tuesdays” and “Local Utility Spotlight.”

    From zero followers in January 2012, @OurWaterCounts has grown to nearly 1,200 followers and increased website traffic 300%.
