Penton names Territo senior VP-content and user engagement

New York—Penton Media has named Joe Territo senior VP-content and user engagement, a new position. He was most recently executive director-content at Advance Digital, a provider of digital news and information products.

Territo will drive digital content innovation across all Penton properties, lead the company's strategic initiative to build mobile digital communities and accelerate Penton's “digital-first” content initiative, the company said. His hiring completes a recent round of executive appointments focused on strengthening digital capabilities.

Territo will report to Penton CEO David Kieselstein and will serve on the company's executive committee.
