  • Menlo Park, Calif.—Google Inc. has introduced a digital coupon service called Zavers that enables manufacturers and retailers to reward customers with coupons relevant to past purchases.

Companies that join Zavers promote the discounts on their own websites. Customers can add these coupons to their accounts, with coupon redemption and manufacturer payment occur in real time at checkout, Google said on its Google Commerce blog site.

Zavers uses real-time analytics to measure coupon redemptions to better unveil customer preferences, Google said.
