Nielsen acquires Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show, Tailgating Industry Association

New York—Nielsen Holdings has acquired the Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show and the Tailgating Industry Association from Showproco. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The two will become part of Nielsen Expositions, which includes Health & Fitness Business Expo; Independent Bicycle Dealer Summit; Interbike Expo; Outdoor Retailer Winter Market; and Outdoor Retailer Summer Market.
The Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show and Tailgating Industry Association will continue to operate from existing offices in Miami and will be supported by Nielsen's offices in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.
