TechTarget acquires French IT media brand

Newton, Mass.—Technology media company TechTarget Inc. announced it has acquired LeMagIT, a network of French-language news sites for IT decision-makers. Financial terms of the deal were undisclosed.

The Paris-based company, which had been a strategic partner of TechTarget since 2010, produces content on enterprise IT topics such as cloud computing, virtualization, security and storage for more than 60,000 registered IT professionals.

LeMagIT's management and editorial team, led by Chairman Eric Ochs and COO David Castaneira, will remain with the company to continue to grow its French business, TechTarget said.
