B-to-b print revenue down 7.4% through August

New York—Total b-to-b print revenue fell 7.4% in the first eight months of the year, to $4.8 billion, compared with the same period a year earlier, according to Business Information Network data released by American Business Media.

Among the 22 advertising categories tracked by ABM, 13 saw declines, including computing, software and telecom (down 22.3%), healthcare (down 13.6%) and movies, radio and TV (down 9.6%). Among the biggest gainers were agriculture (up 11.5%) and travel, business, conventions and meetings (up 9.3%).
