Vienna, Va.—Eloqua Corp. has introduced AdFocus, a tool to manage display ads within the company's marketing automation platform. The tool uses targeting technology from lead-generation companies Bizo Inc. and Demandbase Inc.
AdFocus, which augments existing Eloqua advertising management tools for email and other channels, can target online prospects based on contact data within the Eloqua solution as well as Demandbase for account-level targeting and Bizo for contact-level targeting.
According to Eloqua, AdFocus allows marketers to display certain ads only to prospects in the lead-nurturing phase, for example, with calls to action that are educational in nature. For existing customers, upsell offers might be automatically presented.
