  • Vernon Hills, Ill.—Technology company CDW Monday introduced new ads in its “People Who Get IT” campaign.

The TV spots and online ads, called “Client Golf,” feature NBA star Charles Barkley, who plays golf with clients for fictitious company Gordon & Taylor. In the ads, the more he loses against the clients, the more business the company wins. The ads also showcase CDW services in enterprise mobility, cloud computing, networking and data-center optimization.

The campaign was created by Ogilvy & Mather, Chicago. TV spots are running on ESPN's “Monday Night Football” and CNBC's “Squawk Box.”

The campaign also includes a microsite at www.barkleyonit.com and social media. The budget was undisclosed.
