Agency: Traction, San Francisco Campaign: “Bob From Accountemps” Launch date: April 2012 Creative credits: Direct client: Amanda Leach-Rouvi; account director: Chris Thompson; creative director: Theo Fanning; producers: Kate Lee, Sean Millis. Production company: Go films; directors: Sausage Films; post-production: Beast; editor: Connor McDonald; sound design/mix: Studio Guapo; art direction: John Benson, Jon Stepping; copywriting: Ward Evans; graphic production: Kele Todd Why we liked it: Wry office humor drives the online work for this campaign as well as a broader integrated effort. It's hard not to chuckle at headlines about Accountemps' fictional temp worker, Bob, who saves the day for clients in need of accounting help. Among our favorites: “Bob really saved our asset depreciation schedule” and “No one rocks a spreadsheet like Bob rocks a spreadsheet.” With an economy of words, the copy goes on to make the sale: “For temporary help in accounting, you don't want just anyone. You want Bob from Accountemps or one of hundreds like him.” When it comes to banner ads, fast and funny copy gets the job done—just like Bob would.
