  • Waltham, Mass.—Sales contact provider Zoom Information has debuted an app that integrates its 65 million business contacts with Salesforce.com to append and update in-house records.

Added to Salesforce.com user accounts and lead pages, the new app highlights information that is more recent than, or missing from, existing Salesforce records, according to the company. Using the ZoomInfo app, users can also find other contacts at a customer's or prospect's company within the Salesforce.com platform, ZoomInfo said.

Zoom builds its sales contact database by “scrubbing” the Web for updated contact information as well as by allowing users to create and update their own profiles. Last month the company introduced a service that automatically supplies new records matching a user's sales contact profiles.
