Salesforce partners with Facebook for targeted ad delivery

    San Francisco—Salesforce.com Inc. is partnering with Facebook Inc. for targeted ad delivery, tying Salesforce's new socially driven Marketing Cloud product with Facebook's ad targeting service introduced last month.

    According to a Salesforce blog, Marketing Cloud users can match their target audience with active Facebook users and have Facebook send only those people a special ad.

    Facebook won't reveal its users' identities to the Salesforce system, Salesforce said.
