Twitter unveils new 'business-friendly' design

    This reports includes over 54 pages and 42 charts and graphs that are based on the 432 responses from b2b marketers, surveyed in January and February 2013.

    San Francisco—Twitter has redesigned its Web interface and updated its mobile apps to help businesses attract more attention to their brands.

    The new Twitter Web design features more customizable backgrounds and bigger profile photos appearing across devices. The new features "will give all Twitter users a richer canvas to showcase themselves and drive stronger engagement across platforms," Twitter said, on its blog.

    Twitter's updated mobile apps will mimic the new Web design's photos and backgrounds, but with a prominent single brand photo. Photo streams will now display the brand images people have shared on Twitter, the company said.
