New York—Total b2b media revenue rose 3.3% to $12.49 billion in the first half of the year, compared with the year-earlier period, according to Business Information Network data released by American Business Media. The BIN figures comprise data, digital, print and trade show revenue.
The digital revenue category gained the most, growing 14.2% to $1.94 billion in the first half. Data and business information increased 7.4% to $1.09 billion, while trade shows grew 4.4% to $5.71 billion.
Print advertising declined 4.2%, to $3.74 billion.
The BIN figures are tabulated using data from the Center for Exhibition Industry Research, Inquiry Management Systems, the Interactive Advertising Bureau and Outsell Inc.
