CRN debuts newspaper-style app for iPad

Framingham, Mass.—CRN, a unit of UBM Channel, has introduced CRN Tech News, a daily subscription-based newspaper app for the iPad.

The app, which is available at the iPad App Store, includes daily IT news and weekly investigative reports focusing on IT. It also allows free access to CRN's lists and rankings, such as the SP500 Database (formerly VAR500), the Tech Elite list and the Fast Growth 100 list.

CRN Tech News features offline access, so Internet access isn't required. It also enables users to store and share content and individual articles.
