Yahoo taps Savitt as CMO

Sunnyvale, Calif.—Yahoo Inc. has named Kathy Savitt as its next CMO. She will join the company Sept. 14.

Savitt succeeds Mollie Spilman, who was named CMO three months ago.

Savitt was previously CEO of Lockerz, a social commerce company with more than 45 million unique users, according to Yahoo. Prior to founding Lockerz, Savitt was exec VP-CMO of American Eagle Outfitters.
