Menlo Park, Calif.—Facebook Inc. has introduced new features for Pages business users, allowing companies to target their news feed posts and tailor their messages to more select segments of fans.

Previously, Facebook Pages allowed the targeting of fans only within certain geographic areas or languages. With Facebook's new Pages tools, businesses can create messages segmented by workplace, age, gender, interests, relationship status and education.

The new capabilities will be rolled out throughout August, according to the company. Details on the enhanced Pages targeting features are available here.
