Marder named CFO of Summit Business Media

New York—Summit Business Media, a b2b media company that covers the insurance and financial services markets, has named Adam Marder exec VP-CFO. He will take over this role on July 9.
He succeeds to duties formerly held by Tom Flynn, whose title was CFO-COO. Marder was most recently VP-general manager, sales at EverydayHealth.com, and previously held executive titles at CMP Media, the Financial Times, Primedia, Update Inc. and VNU Business Media.
“Summit will benefit from Adam's unique blend of business leadership and financial management experience in the b2b world,” said Steve Weitzner, Summit's CEO, in a statement. “His most recent work managing sales operations in a pure-play online media company will help us develop our rapidly growing digital business.”"
