Database list rental prices take a big dip

  • Boca Raton, Fla.—Database list prices continue to fall in key b2b areas, with aggregated email database prices down 17.39% from the year-earlier period and business postal lists off 15.56%, according to the “Spring 2012 List Price Index” from list management company Worldata.

    Business email list prices for midsize and large businesses were down the least, off 10.39%, to $250 per thousand names. Permission-based international email prices were steady year-over-year, at $404 per thousand names.

    Some of the steepest price declines were seen in business magazine postal lists, with controlled-circulation magazine lists off 3.55%, to $136 per thousand names, and paid circulation business magazines down 4.48%, to $128 per thousand names. Steadiness was seen for lists of business merchandise buyers and midsize-to-large business lists, although small-business contacts were off 5.15%, to $92 per thousand names.
