Specialty Equipment Market Association to acquire Performance Racing Industry

Laguna Beach, Calif.—The Specialty Equipment Market Association has agreed to acquire Performance Racing Industry, which produces a racing trade show and related digital and print media. The financial terms of the deal, expected to close before the end of the month, were not disclosed.

Steve Lewis, the founder and CEO of PRI, is leaving the company. John Kilroy, VP-general manager of PRI, will take over day-to-day operations for the group. DeSilva & Phillips represented PRI in the sale.
