1105 Media unit launches marketing services division

Irvine, Calif.—1105 Media's Enterprise Computing Group, which publishes Federal Computer Week, has launched a new marketing services division. Called Smart Markets, the marketing services group will provide website development, lead-generation programs and advertising creative to clients.

In conjunction with the new division's creation, Doug Barney has been named VP-new content initiatives. Previously, he was VP-editorial director.
