Reston, Va.—Mobile devices accounted for about 6.8% of digital traffic in August, according to digital measurement company comScore Inc.
The company Monday released a report, “Digital Omnivores: How Tablets, Smartphones and Connected Devices Are Changing U.S. Digital Media Consumption Habits,” that also found about two-thirds of mobile Web traffic was from mobile phones. Tablets accounted for the remaining third.
IPads delivered 97.2% of all tablet traffic in the U.S. in August; 37.2% stemmed from mobile phones accessing a WiFi connection.
