Schofield Media Group shuts down

Chicago—Schofield Media Group, which publishes Construction Today, Manufacturing Today and other b-to-b magazines, will shut down its U.S. operations after unexpectedly losing its bank funding, according to President-COO Brian Reshefsky.

“Wells Fargo [Schofield's lender] gave us no explanation. They pulled our funding [July 15],” Reshefsky told BtoB.

Employees were notified about the closure when they came to work on July 18.

The company's U.K. properties, including Schofield Publishing U.K. and Schofield Healthcare Media, are not affected.
