Austin, Texas—American Business Media officially introduced its new chairman, Bill Pollak, president-CEO of ALM, at its annual conference Monday. Other members of the executive committee for fiscal year 2012 are vice chairman Jeff Lapin, president of Farm Progress Cos.; treasurer Anthea Stratigos, CEO of Outsell Inc.; secretary Neal Vitale, CEO of 1105 Media; and immediate past chairman, Charles McCurdy, chairman-CEO of Apprise Media.

In his report as outgoing treasurer for fiscal 2011, Lapin said ABM is recovering from the impact of the recession. The organization has 12 new members, including returning members Access Intelligence and Edgell Communications. Lapin also said the association will have reserves of about $1.6 million as of June 30.
