    Irvine, Calif.—Local online advertising company WebVisible Inc. has introduced a search marketing service in Japan via an agreement with two Japanese advertising media and marketing companies.

    WebVisible will partner with media provider and publisher Recruit Co. and marketing chain management company Transcosmos Inc., both based in Tokyo. Recruit's Local Promotion division will offer WebVisible's online advertising solution to local Japanese businesses, and search advertising campaign services will be provided by Transcosmos.

    Recruit is a major publisher in Japan, with more than 80 magazine and website brands, and 5.6 million subscribers. Its advertisers will have access to WebVisible's landing page optimization and campaign reporting services, according to WebVisible.
