  • Redmond, Wash.—Microsoft Corp., which owns a minority share of Facebook, has expanded its partnership with the social networking site to include Liked Results, and now displays within the Bing search engine those websites and links that are “liked” by a Facebook user's friends.

    For example, a user who searches for the name of a company or product can now see which of their friends “liked” it.

    In addition, Facebook information has been melded into Bing's people searches. Users who search for a person on Bing will see that person's Facebook images and information, and can add that person as a Facebook friend directly from the search engine.
