Reston, Va.—Internet measurement company comScore Inc. announced its acquisition of Nedstat, an Amsterdam-based Web analytics firm, in a deal valued at approximately $36.7 million.
Under the acquisition, Nedstat will become a wholly owned subsidiary of comSore. Nedstat provides analytics technology, including online video measurement solutions.
Michael Kinsbergen, CEO of Nedstat, will stay on during the transition and will remain involved as a member of comScore's advisory board. Fred Appelman, Nedstat's chief technology officer, and Michiel Berger, Nedstat's chief innovations officer, will join comScore in senior strategy and technology roles.
