Washington, D.C.—Atlantic Media, parent of the Government Executive and Nextgov media brands, this summer will launch Defense One, a new multiplatform media brand serving the U.S. defense and national security community.
Defense One's website (www.defenseone.com) will be fully optimized for tablet and mobile devices, Atlantic Media said in a statement. Its website will be built on an HTML5-based responsive-design platform. In the fall, native applications will be launched for Apple's iPhone and Android devices.
The brand will also incorporate events starting in the fall.
