Cambridge, Mass.—HubSpot Inc. has launched Social Inbox, which integrates social media monitoring and publishing with HubSpot's contact database for better marketing segmentation.

The application flags tweets sent from a database contact to help build out that contact's profile and automatically matches a prospect with his or her Twitter activity to better personalize company responses, HubSpot said.

Social Inbox allows marketers to see how many visits, leads and customers were generated by a social channel. It also offers reports on interactions with a contact's tweet and the names of those who expressed an interest in that tweet, the company said.
