Hanley Wood acquires Metrostudy

Washington, D.C.—Media company Hanley Wood announced it has acquired Metrostudy, a provider of research, data, analytics and consulting services to the housing industry. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Metrostudy will be combined with Hanley Wood Market Intelligence division. The new unit, which will operate under the Metrostudy brand, will offer Hanley Wood customers a more comprehensive platform of products, data and services, according to the company. Hanley Wood Market Intelligence President Chris Veator will continue to lead the business.

“The acquisition of Metrostudy represents an important step in Hanley Wood's growth strategy and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing customers with the information, tools and knowledge that allow them to make intelligent decisions that help grow their businesses,” Peter Goldstone, CEO of Hanley Wood, said in a statement.
