In July, IHS Inc., a publicly held holding company comprising more than 50 specialized business information companies, completed its $135 million acquisition of GlobalSpec from Warburg Pincus. Killeen, who joined GlobalSpec as CEO in 2002, has led its expansion beyond its roots as a parametrically searchable manufacturing product specification database into a variety of e-media and marketing services.
