In September 2011, McGraw-Hill announced its plan to separate into two public companies, McGraw-Hill Education and McGraw-Hill Financial, which will include the b-to-b information brands McGraw-Hill Construction, Aviation Week, Platts and J.D. Power and Associates. In July, McGraw said in a release that the separation into two companies is on track for completion by the end of this year.
