    Redmond, Wash.—Microsoft Corp.'s Bing search engine has formed a partnership with social analytics company Klout Inc. to highlight the social influence of contacts found through search queries on both platforms.

    According to the Bing blog, Klout social influencer data, scores and topics these influencers specialize in will appear in Bing's People Who Know sidebar.

    In return, Bing will provide Klout with additional data to augment its own search function, including how often a person shows up in Bing's sidebar.
