Melville has refocused Reed Construction Data on delivering Internet and work-flow solutions in addition to data. In particular, he has championed development of tools, services and best practices in building information modeling (BIM). Last month, RCD spun off its BIM Solutions division into a separate company, SmartBIM, in which RCD is a major shareholder.
