With the closing of its acquisition of Canon Communications last month, United Business Media formed a new company, UBM Electronics, which merges the EETimes Group—of which Miller was CEO—with the electronics-related properties formerly operated by Canon. UBM Canon, with 12 publications and related websites in the medical design and manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing and packaging fields, remains a separate company.
