Why we liked it: Truth be told, we didn't love all the Cisco series of TV spots featuring Ellen Page, the actress who starred in “Juno.” But we did love this one called “The Doctor Is In.” In this spot, Page visits the doctor in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, only to find that he's out of the office—in Copenhagen. “You can still see him,” the receptionist insists. Page, nicely played and under her breath, says, “That's pretty far.” It turns out the doctor is available via Cisco's Health Telepresence—even on his vacation. “Workaholic,” the receptionist explains to Page in a whisper. “I heard that,” the doctor says from across the Atlantic, demonstrating the effectiveness of the telepresence product. Page finishes off this very deft ad with a nice line, “She said it.” All in all, a nice use of a celebrity endorser, who turns in a nice understated acting job.
