Mountain View, Calif.—Accounting software company Intuit Inc. has entered the customer relationship management arena with the release of its on-demand Customer Manager product.
Aimed as small businesses, Customer Manager is available both as an online service and for mobile devices. The product syncs with QuickBooks 2009, the company’s accounting package, adding in pending tasks, scheduled appointments and customer notes.
Contacts can be imported from Outlook, Intuit said.
The mobile service current supports BlackBerry devices, with support for other small phones to come, the company said.
