  • San Francisco—IDG’s PC World announced it has partnered with Retrevo to provide online comparisons of electronics products.

Retrevo uses artificial intelligence technology to scan millions of online data sources and aggregate, analyze and classify information to allow buyers to compare products. The product information includes price data and review rankings.

As part of the agreement, PC World is selling advertising programs for the Retrevo Web site. “For advertisers, Retrevo is attractive to technology marketers who want to reach users ready to make a purchase,” PC World President-CEO Mike Kisseberth said in a statement.
