BlueTie teams up with Adknowledge

Rochester, N.Y.—BlueTie, an e-mail and calendaring software solution, announced it has partnered with Adknowledge, a Rochester-based behavioral targeting company that provides so-called tagline advertising.

Tagline ads give Web publishers the ability to insert ads into user-generated peer-to-peer e-mail, newsletters, flight notifications and weather alerts.

"This partnership with Adknowledge provides our ISP and Web publishing customers with all of the tools they need to deliver targeted advertising through the e-mail application," said David Koretz, president-CEO of BlueTie, in a statement.
