New York—Senior executives, including C-level officers at large and midsize companies, have a voracious appetite for quality business information, according to a survey released Tuesday by Ipsos Media.
The online survey was conducted from February through July. It garnered 2,390 responses, mostly from U.S. business executives at companies with 250 or more employees.
According to the survey results, nine out of 10 respondents had read the most recent issue of a print publication; seven in 10 had watched network TV in the previous day; and six in 10 had watched cable TV in the previous day.
Perhaps more important for b2b marketers, just more than half of the respondents went online in the previous day; seven in 10 received a daily email alert or newsletter in the past month; and nearly half streamed or watched a broadband video from a computer in the past month. A third of the respondents read a blog in the past month, but only 5% contributed to one, the survey found.
